Burlesque Excellence Awards aims to shine the spotlight on new talent and semi-established artists keen to refine their skills and advance their performer profile, with a chance to win Mentorship and Sponsored prizes. Hot Sauce Burlesque School was started by Lyra la Belle, internationally renowned burlesque artist and Adelaide-born burly babe. Lyra saw a gap in the market for the Hollywood-style burlesque she is known for after living in LA for several years and launched her School in July 2017. Starting with five students she now boasts over 150 in her army of ‘hotties’. An experienced arts producer, Lyra produces inclusive burlesque and cabaret shows throughout the year and is the resident performer and booking agent at Nineteen Ten Burlesque & Cabaret Club. |
