Adelaide’s No.1 pop jazz band are back for the Cabaret Fringe with their show ‘Shaken & Stirred’. Following on from a sell-out performance for the Adelaide Fringe, MJ & The Progression bring their unique blend of swing, funk and jazz to the comfort of Diverse-City for one show only. With an infusion of secret agent, superhero and general crime fighting themes throughout it promises to be an entertaining night. You can look forward to MJ & The Progression performing popular music made famous by the likes of David Bowie, Stevie Wonder, Gloria Gaynor, The Clash and The Beatles, through to Nirvana, Daft Punk and Ed Sheeran. All the songs are put through the retro-refit cocktail maker, shaken and then definitely stirred into pop-jazz classics that will have you swinging in or out of your seats! In addition to this great collection of songs, MJ and The Progression has also added in some classic swing numbers that have had a modern refit makeover. MJ & The Progression are regulars at Adelaide’s Fringe festival, wowing sell-out audiences with their music. They’ve been described as ‘the Great Gatsby on steroids’ and will put something a little different into your night out. Diverse-City - Dinner & Show (2 course meal) or Show only tickets available. Dinner 6pm - Show starts 8pm. (Any special dietary needs please contact Diverse-City on (08) 7076 9211.)
